Why are you in nonprofit work?
Previously, I was involved with several charities over the years that helped the homeless and assisted the elderly. I have always had a passion to help make a positive change in the lives of others.
More recently, I founded the KSHCF because of my 8-year-old twin son Jonny who passed away from brain cancer less than a year from being diagnosed. Watching the pain and suffering that my precious son endured during this time has forever changed me. He often said “I don’t want any other kid to have cancer”, and I completely agree. So with that, I carry on his mission to eradicate this horrible disease that affects so many children in hopes that they can have the life they deserve.
